At Miss Helens our one principle is attention to detail. We are always asking the question: "what would our renters expect when they visit Miss Helens?"
The wi fi, the Satellite tv, Washer/dryer, gas grill, comfortable furniture, comfortable beds, excellent linens and towels, well equipped kitchen for cooking, clean from top to bottom, all this and more will be waiting for you when you enter Miss Helens Vacation Rental in Cedar Key, Florida.
A comfortable and cozy living room for commiseration and tv watching along with the dining area and open kitchen is the focal point of Miss Helens. It is a great room for families and friends. We do sleep a maximum of four. Then there is the comfortable bedrooms each with queen beds. The master bedroom has its own private bath with shower. We have decorated Miss Helens in a coastal theme. You just feel like you're on vacation when you're here. The kitchen is completely stocked with all your cooking needs. Microwave, Electric range and oven, toaster, coffee maker, blender and more. Clean up is easy with waste disposal and dishwasher. The laundry room includes washer and dryer. The front and back porch Completes Miss Helens Cottage. The front porch is small and welcoming the back porch is where you will find your gas grill and outside dining table with seating for four.
You can rent kayaks at the City Park Beach. Cedar Key Adventures has kiosk there at beach for launching and this is only a short walk from your cottage.
We have adequate parking for two or possibly three vehicles or a vehicle and a boat. The boat launch is quite close and if there is no boat parking left at the marina then the house is near by enough to park your trailer at the house and walk back to the launch ramp. Yes you are welcome to bring your boat to Miss Helens. Cedar Key is a boating town. Your close proximity to the marina basin and launch ramps make Miss Helens a very attractive vacation spot.
Miss Helens is an authentic Cedar Key cottage. Once owned and occupied by Ms. Helen Richburg Johanson and her sister Ms. Armalee Richburg both lifelong residents of the island. Their home has been completely redone by the current owners but it still holds the charm and character of the old days when Cedar Key was just a quiet fishing village.
